Online and In-Person Cotton Picker Safety and Operator Training

Farming is one of Australia’s most dangerous jobs - we are only 2% of the workforce yet over 20% of workplace deaths happen on farms  - we want to change that.
We’re rolling out a new and improved Picker Training program for 2026 - now even more accessible for all cotton harvest staff, not just operators. You can attend in person or purchase the training as video‑only, perfect for showing on‑farm or for staff to watch on their own devices.

The Training Day Includes:

1. Cotton Harvest Safety Induction - suitable for Cotton Picker & Stripper crews

All the essentials, suitable for everyone involved in cotton harvest.

Runs for a few hours before the team heads back to work.

✔ Safe work culture - worker responsibilities, fatigue, distraction & more

✔ Safety at heights, entanglement, crushing, safe wrap loading

✔ Fire prevention & response

✔ Powerline safety

✔ Blowdown operation for fire prevention & component life

2. Operator Excellence Training

Operators stay on for the rest of the day for our in‑depth, hands‑on picker training. They will learn or refresh their skills on:

✔ Optimal speed, height & moisture management

✔ HANDS ON: Setting doffers & moisture pads, spindles

✔ Module wrap:  Operation of RMB, changing rolls, misfeeds

✔ Screens & camera settings

✔ Daily servicing,  preventative maintenance AND MORE!

Get in touch now to secure your spot or purchase the course online. We’ll be on the road across QLD & NSW in February, March & April.
